  3. Man! That was a great reminder of how well our offense played. It's been a while since we threw the ball down field like that. We have some real playmakers on offense.

  5. Great clip. I have to give props to some guys who have battled various things: Josh Holmes who recovered a fumble and who was giving great effort; Leonard Hankerson who had the drops last year and was HUGE this game, even overcoming an intial drop; Deadrick Epps coming back from a knee injury. This was a great team win but I'm happy for these guys especially with what they've overcome. Great win.

  7. I was watching the NC -UCONN gamne today. Late in the game there was a penalty against the defense for "theartenig the offense". I am hoping someone knows about this. A quick internet search finds such a rule in flag football but nothing in college or the pro's. Does such a rule exist? If so, is there a offensive rule? If such a rule exists, what did the NC player say? Should such a rule exist.

    I am hoping someone on this informative blog knows.

  8. Nice! Hopefully they'll be an even better highlight reel in the works come the end of the game on Thursday. I think Coop and JJ run all over them and their secondary looked real vulnerable to the pass.

    As far as Defense, we will hopefully have our starters back. Man to man on their receivers and stack the box. Stop the run and this should be a bloodbath!

  10. Love the Canes, but the reality is that FSU isn't that good (beat Jax State by only 10?) and GA Tech will run all over us again.

    Vehemently disagree that Florida State "isn't that good". Bank on it now, the Noles finish first or second in the ACC Atlantic this year.

    UM ripped FSU's heart out and they came out flat. End of story. Nole coaches didn't get those kids ready to play and Jax State played like it was their BCS game.

    Florida State will come to play this week at BYU. Bank on that. Jax State was the proverbial sandwich game. No more, no less.
