Miami / Duke Depth Chart Released

The 4-4 Miami Hurricanes are preparing for game nine; a showdown with visiting Duke. Head coach Al Golden has released next Saturday’s depth chart and while there aren’t too many changes, there are some notable ones.

The biggest change comes at Miami’s most maligned offensive position, tight end, where Dyron Dye is the new first-stringer. Clive Walford is second string with Chase Ford listed at number three and Asante Cleveland nowhere to be found. Dye was suspended the first four games of the 2011 season and is getting his first start in game nine.

Lamar Miller remains the first-string running back, though Mike James is no longer the clear cut number two, splitting duties with Eduardo Clements.

Jonathan Feliciano is healthy again, after sustaining an injury celebrating a touchdown over Georgia Tech. Feliciano is back at first-string right tackle while Seantrel Henderson has returned to second-string left tackle behind Brandon Washington.

Defensively things look the same outside of Kacy Rodgers II moving from third-string cornerback to third-string safety.

The Canes and Blue Devils will square off at 3pm PT on November 5th at Sun Life Stadium. Miami is coming off a 28-21 Thursday night setback to Virginia while Duke gave Virginia Tech all it could handle in a 14-10 loss.

Saturday’s contest will be broadcast online at ESPN3.
