  1. I so love the first 3 minutes of this video. Irvin's speech makes me want to put on a helmet and get on the field. This should definitely be played before EVERY Cane game.

CANES BABY….GO HARD OR GO HOME!!

  2. ATL – I loved Irvin's speech, too. Sadly, our kids didn't. The Playmaker delivered that one before Miami choked at Doak and fell 10-7 back in 2005.

Hopefully our kids are a bit more focused this time around!

  3. maybe someone should play this video to this year's squad before the game next monday.

  4. i have to say in this video you can see the swagger that everyone talks about…these guys were proud to put on that orange and green…they look at each game as if it was a war and they were not going to lose…they had a kellen winslow mindset about it…just play hard every down…what i want to start seeing is this attitude, this swagger, this confidence in our current players and young men…i want to start seeing them on these highlight videos…i want to start hearing about fox leading and telling everyone they need to dominate…so as they young men believe that are dominate and just crushing people …we will be back

i can watch videos like this all day…rally in tally…i will be there monday night

    lets go canes!!!!!

  5. I was watching all of Jacory's highlights from last season, and I just love how he handled most of the passes. Not many of them are bullet-type pass like Marve's but instead the passes were accurate and on time with the receivers. If James and Cooper can get it going on the ground against FSU, it'd be nice for Jacory just to manage the game.

  6. Manage the game? I say we put 'em on their ass, stick our foot on their throat, and leave it their while we run up the score and show the nation what to expect. I'm ready to see what this offense is all about. Lets talk offense. There is quite a bit of depth to get this ball rolling.

QB- Harris we know is capable. Obviously A.J. is too. He obviously worked harder than the quitters that didn't want to compete. He's focused and they both locked, cocked, and ready to rock.

RB and WR Like a freakn arsenal. Way too much to talk about here. Obviously some are better than others, but from front to back any these warriors could be starting for a major division I school, yet they choose to compete with best and play for the best.

TE- Epps and Graham = Soldiers ready to get down and dirty in the trenches woth the OL and catch a pass when you need em to. I am pretty damn excited to see what these two have in store, considering this was the weak link position.

OL- Lets hope these boys can do what they need to do and protect one of our most vital assets. If they can do their job and open up the holes for the RB arsenal, we are in business… the WR will then flourish off of the numerous passes that will come flying their way.

Time we had a high powered, run up the score type of offense again. Lets play to win, instead of managing not to lose. Lets show them the talent is back at the U and that we are ready to stomp these a mudhole in these candyass jabroni's.. aka fsWHO!!!

  7. I am a cane fan who lives in Tallahassee. Today as I usually do, was listening to the local sports talk radio station (lets just call the host by his initials JC). As you you would suspect, it is all FSU. What surprised me was the lack of respect we are getting. JC makes no secret of the fact he HATES us. Throwing out quotes like "Miami is destend for another season of Mediocrity" or in reference to our DC being a puppet and Randy Shannon really is the one calling the plays "I sure hope so we ran for 6.4 yards per carry against him last year". Mr. Cam…. er JC forgets that Mr. Shannon was the DC when we beat them 5 straight times. But that is OK we will take the lack of respect. We have always thrived on it. I hope his stuff makes it to the bulletin board in the locker room. In fact the sentiment around town is not if FSU will beat Miami but by how much.

Lets Shut the T-town up Boys.

  8. If any Nole is overlooking us, then that's their mistake. I honestly don't know how they're inside the top 20. No proven WR's, no proven RB's, mediocre QB. Bring the heat and they will choke. Oh well. Bring it. We are the better team all the way around. More leaders, more playmakers, more soldiers. I expect to win this game so afterwards when we're 1-0, I won't have much to say except bring on Tech – next victim! Nole fans are obviously nervous or else they wouldn't be on Cane site. They obviously want to see what true fans are like. Let's do this.

  9. "Cane in Tally…is a nole @ heart!"

uh… what? I do respect our Tallahassee rival (unlike those in G-ville) but I am Green and Orange to the core. I work for FSU and wear my Canes hat proudly everyday. Sebastian is proudly displayed on the grill of my truck. 2 years ago I was standing on top of Doak right behind the students wearing my green Santana Moss Jersey getting cussed up one side and down the other (I got the last laugh). I have a piece of the Orange bowl on the wall at my house and may (or may not) have planted some Orange Bowl bedrock @ Doak Cambell stadium. So don't you dare question my heart. I am a Cane through and through.
