Miami Hurricanes : New Depth Chart Released

The new depth chart has been released with Miami’s final scrimmage in the books and there are a few changes with game week officially one week out. A few noticeable differences:

– Both starting receiver spots have co-teamers listed, as well. On one side it remains a battle between Allen Hurns and Phillip Dorsett and on the other, Kendal Thompson and Rashawn Scott are going at it.

– Offensive line is still the same, with Seantrel Henderson absent and not expected to make the trip to Boston College, due to to much missed time this fall. Jermaine Johnson is second team at right guard and right tackle, while Jeremy Lewis is co-second team left guard with Ben Jones. Jones is also listed as back-up left tackle.

– At running back Mike James remains the starter, but Randy ‘Duke’ Johnson is making his bid for number two, where’s he’s now listed as co-second team with Eduardo Clements.

Luther Robinson has overtaken Darius Smith at left defensive tackle, while Olsen Pierre remains the man on the right, with Curtis Porter sidelined due to injury. Jelani Hamilton, Dequan Ivery, Earl Moore and Tyriq McCord – all freshmen – are also listed on the defensive line depth chart.

Thurston Armbrister and Eddie Johnson are co-starters at outside linebacker, while Jimmy Gaines and Gionni Paul are co-second team behind sophomore Denzel Perryman.

Ladarius Gunter and Brandon McGee will start at cornerback, while at safety Kacy Rodgers II is sharing the first-team with true freshman Deon Bush. A.J. Highsmith is losing his lead on Rayshawn Jenkins as both fight to back-up starter Vaughn Telemaque.
