Condolences to Mike James …

Sophomore running back Mike James lost his mother in a fatal car accident Monday morning. Elgusta James was 47 years old.

There are no words during a time like this so on behalf of all of us at allCanes, we wish No. 5 and his family all the best during these trying times – especially during what will be a difficult holiday season. Say a prayer for the James family tonight.

  • Very sorry to hear that. I feel for you Mike and hope you can make it through this difficult time with strength. Not much else to say but very sorry for your loss.

  • My sincerest apologies for Mike James' loss. It's always tough when you lose someone close or something you love, especially the person that's raised you all your life. I lost my father last year and you're never fully over something like that and I'm sure he's got plenty of mixed emotions going on right now. This is just another reminder that there's always things greater in life than just football.
Be strong, the Miami Hurricane family is behind you...
