I like Golden's enthusiasm and his philosophy. All the talent in the world isnt going to make a difference if the player doesnt take some accountability in his own development. One of the longer nails in Randy's coaching coffin was the Sam Shield's game film debacle. Sure a lot of that may have been coaching but shouldnt Sam have taken some responsibility also? Shouldnt Randy have allowed the Jacory to face the media and the fans after the Ohio State loss and say " It was my fault and it will never happen again". Accountability is a great motivating tool. Hopefully this doesnt turn out to be a campaign speech with unfulfilled promises but I like what I'm hearing so far.
