Seven NFL greats were voted into the Hall Of Fame this weekend and one happened to be Miami Hurricanes defensive lineman Warren Sapp.
Sapp was a first-time inductee, earning this great honor out the gate and it wasn’t lost on him. His stomach churning all day, he finally exhaled when the news was official.
“My feet haven’t touched the ground in about thirty minutes,” Sapp said. “This is unbelievable.”
Miami basketball on a roll, a half dozen Canes representing in the Super Bowl tomorrow and an all-time great earns one of the game’s biggest honors.
The tide continues to turn in the favor of The U. Finally.
