UM’s Sports Hall Of Fame Banquet Info

Legendary mascot, friend of allCanes and executive director of the UM Sports Hall Of Fame, John Routh shot us a note earlier, asking us to let fans know about next Thursday’s event.

The 44th Annual University of Miami Sports Hall of Fame Banquet takes place on Thursday March 29th at Jungle Island. The event kicks off with cocktails (at 6pm) followed by dinner (at 7pm).

This year’s inductees, in alphabetical order are, Patricia Allen (Track), Ray Bellamy (Football), Desma Thomas Bateast (Basketball), Bryant McKinnie (Football), Richard Mercier (Football), Robbie Morrison (Baseball), Ed Reed (Football) and Paige Yaroshuk Tews (Women’s Tennis Coach).

Price of admission is $100 per individual ticket, $1,000 per table of ten or $1,500 for a ‘super’ table of ten. For more information either call John (305.284.2775) or Ken Lancaster (305.666.6000) or visit www.UMSportsHallOfFame.com.
