Where Other NFL-Bound Canes Landed

The 2013 NFL Draft only saw two Miami Hurricanes picked up, which is a far cry from what this program expects to do at the next level.

Cornerback Brandon McGee went to the St. Louis Rams in the fifth round while running back Mike James was taken by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the sixth.

Some other former UM football players are hoping to catch on with other squads as as of now, this is the latest:

– Linebacker Ramon Buchanan has signed with the Seattle Seahawks as an undrafted free agent.

– Former safety Ray-Ray Armstrong signed with the St. Louis Rams as an undrafted free agent.

– Offensive lineman Jeremy Lewis will attend Tampa Bay’s rookie minicamp.

– Wide receiver Kendal Thompkins will attend the Kansas City Chiefs’ rookie minicamp.

– Punter Dalton Botts will attend the New Orleans Saints’ rookie minicamp.

– Former safety Vaughn Telemaque and kicker Jake Wieclaw are yet to receive any minicamp invites.
