Miami And Florida Will Meet In 2013

When the Miami Hurricanes and Florida Gators met at The Swamp back in 2008, many predicted the 2013 return game would be cancelled as, well, let’s face it – UF isn’t a fan of road games outside the SEC.

That being said, next season’s game is officially on and the Gators will head south to Sun Life Stadium on Saturday September 7th to take on the Hurricanes.

There was speculation that a nine-game SEC conference slate could’ve knocked this game off the schedule, that didn’t happen.

Miami and Florida are on for the second game of the 2013 season. Book it and get ready to eat some Gator meat.

  • We've lost our last two games against SEC opponents to the tune of 67-6.

This game isn't appealing. At all.

    • It's always appealing. It's Florida / Miami and these two teams rarely meet. The dirty lizards haven't been south since 2003. Time for a rematch. Throw all that SEC shit out the window. It's simply two Sunshine State teams seeking bragging rights.

  • This team should be ready to take a Hugh step FWD next year and some SEC GATOR MEAT should put us on the Map. UF needs to stop dodging this rivalry and put together a yearly match up. Don’t be scared UF, you can wear your Jorts in Sun-Life, we promise not to make fun of you too much. They are so cool; maybe you will start a fashion trend...lol Maybe you can borrow Doc Browns time machine.

    • Yes, Miami should move forward next year. However, that's the Cane offense and NOT that D' Onofrio's defense. Eh. What say.
Yeah, yeah Miami's defense should improve, but it still won't be a TOP SIXTY type of defense. Especially with D'Onofrio's PASSIVE-AGGRESSIVE defensive schemes and what not.
      Bon soir
