The Seminoles upended the Hurricanes, 23-19 in an all-over-the-place, blasé, nowhere-what-it-used to be Sunshine State showdown.
Miami had 24 first downs to Florida State’s 13 and 383 yards to the Noles’ 259, but gave up big plays on special teams to fall behind 17-7 at the half.
Both teams combined for 19 penalties for 131 yards and Miami turned it over three times while Florida State was mistake-free. UM also posted three offensive touchdowns while FSU had one, yet still won by four.
Full recap coming Sunday. Next up for the 5-5 Canes, a road trip to South Florida on Saturday November 19th.
