ESPN calls Jacory Harris "irreplaceable"…

John Saunders, Jesse Palmer and Bob Davie were talking “irreplaceable players” on ESPN’s College Football Live recently and the subject of Miami Hurricanes junior quarterback Jacory Harris came up. Check the footage below:

  1. I agree! Jacory goes down and thats some games that Miami will lose some games. I trust that Highsmith, Whipple Jr and the frosh will compete when thrown in.

  2. I agree also, Jacory needs much better protection from the offensive line this year. When they play well, Harris does well and isn't rushed into making decisions. If protection does break down, I'd like to see him use his legs or play it smart and either throw the ball away or take a sack. Even a sack is better than turning the ball over, especially deep in our own territory. As for A.J., Spencer and Stephen, all of them showed promise in the spring as capable backups but need another year of progression in my opinion. Then you have Teddy for the future but as of right now, absolutely I would say Jacory is irreplaceable. Hopefully the O-line realizes it too, because we've got teams on the schedule who rely on their pass rush alot to create turnovers and win ball games.
