UM Sports Hall Of Fame Fishing Tourney

Our bud K.C. Jones asked us to spread the news regarding the upcoming UM Hall Of Fame’s 2012 Celebrity Dolphin Tournament. The event will take place late June in Islamorada, FL and dozens of celebrity participants will be on board, including old school Canes like Warren Sapp, Bubba Franks, Brett Romberg, Damione Lewis and others.

The tournament weekend will kick-off the evening of Friday June 29th with the Captain’s Meeting hosted by UM Hall of Famer Gary Dunn at his Ocean View Pub & Inn.

After Saturday’s event, the newly-renovated Postcard Inn at Holiday Isle will provide the backdrop for the weigh in, awards dinner and after party on the 30th.

For those interested, there is a Fishing Tournament Tailgate Party taking place Sunday March 18th at Scotty’s Landing in Coconut Grove from 4pm to 8pm, featuring happy hour specials and lots of tournament talk.

Drop on by this weekend and make sure to check www.CanesFish.com for more related info!
