UM SHOF Fishing Tourney Happy Hour

John Routh and K.C. Jones asked us to remind you about an upcoming University of Miami Sports Hall Of Fame 2012 Celebrity Dolphin Tournament Happy Hour.

The event will take place Friday June 22nd at Waxy’s On The River (690 SW 1st Court, Miami, FL 33130) from 5pm to 8pm EDT. Specials include complimentary champagne for the ladies, 2-for-1 drinks and $5 appetizers.

Also, a heads up regarding some additional Hurricanes football greats who have been added to the event on June 29th and 30th down in Islamorada. Along with the current all-star line-up (check CanesFish.com for the scoop), UM greats Ray Bellamy, Richard Mercier, Daniel Stubbs and Sherko Haji-Rasouli are now on board.

Lastly, for those UM fans who wanted to attend the event but aren’t interested in fishing, you can do so. There is a $50 ticket for the Saturday night awards dinner at the Post Card Inn, kicking off at 7pm EDT. The event includes a catered dinner by Mangrove Mike Cafe, beer and cocktails by Budweiser and Bacardi, as well as live music from Kevin Hurley and Live Bait.

C’mon down and party Hurricane-style.
