Linebackers coach Micheal Barrow has praised the transition, as well as Perryman’s work ethic, athletic ability and potential.
Perryman finished the 2011 season with sixty-nine tackles and six-and-a-half tackles-for-loss in twelve games, including five starts at weakside linebacker. He had a career-high fourteen tackles in the season finale against Boston College.
