‘The U’ Reloaded : The Official Trailer

The eleven-minute trailer for the much-anticipated “The U : Reloaded” documentary has finally been released. For those who hadn’t heard of the piece, it’s being put together by former UM running back Najeh Davenport and Platon Alexandrakis, of ProCanes.com and co-host of allCanes Radio.

Where the Raknotur documentary on “The U” was focused on the ‘Decade Of Dominance’ era – those early-1980s, through the mid-1990s when probation hit – this piece will be about the resurgence.

That unthinkable comeback Miami made, where lightning struck a second time and this program eventually tore off a 34-game win-streak, reached four straight BCS games, played for back-to-back national championships, won one and had another snatched away on a controversial call. There was also that slew of first round talent that joined the NFL U family.

This short warrants a bigger write-up, but for now check out the trailer. The quality of the documentary doesn’t look up to Rakontur-status, which isn’t a knock as much as an observation, but the raw, uncensored footage will certainly make for a more realistic and less polished look into this bad-ass program.

  • looks to me like... ANYONE ANYTIME ANYWHERE!!!

that has to be who you are and how you approach everyday life..... if you want to be succesful...

    • ... agree with that sentiment, but fans need to quit acting like that's "the way" for Miami football. This program hasn't really embodied that since the 1970, when making it's name and the 1980s, when dominating as an Independent. Once joining the Big East in 1992, the Canes weren't putting together incredibly difficult out of conference schedules.
