I wasn’t skeptical about the claim at all, watched with great expectation and can agree that he certainly delivered something special here as so many indelible moments in Miami Hurricanes football history are represented here.
Independence Day is all about giving thanks for our freedom as Americans. 1776, declaring our independence from Great Britain and a new nation was born. Today is a special day and as Americans, we should always take a moment to give thanks for these incredible freedoms.
This video adds another layer for the fans of the Miami Hurricanes as watching this footage will flood your head with over three decades worth of special memories. There is just something different about ‘The U’ – the program itself, the university, the city, the fan base, the players, the alumni, the attitude, the swag – as well as the fact that it truly is “us against the world”.
College football needs Miami to to good again, but make no mistake; it’s because the Hurricanes are a bunch so many love to hate and it’s hard to root against a team that spent the past decade beating itself.
While enjoying your many freedoms as a proud American today, puff out that chest as a Hurricane, as well. This almost eleven-minute clip will make the hairs on the back of your neck stand up. As an old shirt of our stated, “American By Birth – Cane By The Grace Of God”. Give thanks that some road led you to the University of Miami and that these Hurricanes have been YOUR CHOSEN TEAM. What a wild ride.
‘The U’ is on the mend, better days are right around the corner and this history is as good as is gets. Go America. Go Canes. I stand with The U.
