Video Of Malcolm Lewis’ Spring Game Score

Some big moments for the Miami Hurricanes this spring and none bigger than the return of Malcolm Lewis, who some feared might never play again after suffering a horrific ankle injury early in a game at Georgia Tech last September.

Lewis has worked his ass off to get back to form and coaches drew up a 75-yard touchdown pass to the redshirt freshman wide receiver during Saturday’s spring game at Sun Life Stadium. Check the video below to see #9 taking one across the goal line for the first time since his 18-yard haul-in (and juke) at Boston College in the 2012 season opener.

Lewis did earn a medical redshirt last season and had eight receptions for seventy-three yards and the lone score before going down against the Yellow Jackets.

Kudos to coaches for seizing a moment to celebrate Lewis’ hard work, while involving teammates and building both team unity and camaraderie. Welcome back, #9. Tear it up.
