  • Looks like this team didn't come to play today. They must have been reading their press clippings all week because they were dominated in all areas. You can't just throw your helmets out there and expect to win. Tech threw 8 goddamn passes all day and nobody could break down and make a tackle. I have much respect for Frank Beamer and his program. Those guys have heart and always come to play for 60 minutes. I hope the guys learn a valuable lesson from this and frow from it. Embarrassing. Tech wanted it more.

  • There will be alot of analysis of the loss. Big setback.Bottom line is the team who wanted it more won. Hurts to say that. Early in the year and next week is chance for redemption.
Best for players to avoid media and speak through their play on field.

  • I was on a messege board and heard people trying to blame this on Shannon. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? When we were 2-0 NO ONE gave him credit and now that we lost to Va-Tech it's his fault? C'Mon people. Randy Shannon is a good coach. I'm sure he told all of the pleyers not to get big heads and they probably did.

  • We all knew they would fall at some point. This is a case of a young team getting a bit cocky and loosing focus. Tech was the better team yesterday and they wanted the win more plain and simple. The guys need to take this feeling and use it next week and in the future.

  • very hearbreaking loss. Appears our canes lost all focus with all the media attention and the number 9 rankings. Something this young team will need to learn from. Hopefully they rebound and are more focused against OU.
