The news hasn’t all been good for the University of Miami as of late, but damed if January 10th wasn’t a much-needed win-win-win for the Canes.
The day began with the re-hiring of former player and assistant Mario Cristobal as assistant head coach / recruiting coordinator / tight ends coach. (Former defensive lineman Kareem Brown is also said to be returning as a grad assistant, though not an official announcement yet.)
This evening Miami basketball upended North Carolina in Chapel Hill, 68-59 and an hour later, former Canes tight end and offensive coordinator Rob Chudzinski was hired as the head coach of the Cleveland Browns.
Next up, the NOA from the NCAA and hopefully three scholarships reductions – one per year.
One can hope, right?
