Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson was back home in Miami on Monday night, celebrating his 39th birthday in the ring which made him famous, and hyping up the hometown crowd for WWE Raw.
Johnson led a crowd of over 10,000 in the Pledge of Allegiance and constantly thanked the U.S. troops, a day after the announcement that Osama Bin Laden had been killed – but the biggest applause came when the former No. 94 laid a ‘Rock Bottom’ on a Celtics-jersey-wearing, Heat-mocking Sir Michael Cole.
After screaming ‘Go Heat’, the next move was an obvious one; the throwing up of “U” hands. It’s not quite as bad-ass as a U.S. military helicopter donning a U flag, but it’s still cool in its own right. Way to fire up the 305, Dwayne. Go Canes.
(A special thanks to our friend Frank H. in New Jersey for the screen capture and image of ‘The Rock’ in action.)
