Our friend K.C. Jones wanted to pass on the news that Gino Torretta is hosting a charity event this Friday in honor of Saturday’s showdown with Florida State.
The event takes place Friday October 19th at Calder Racetrack and it will be a luncheon featuring former UM head coach Dennis Erickson and former FSU head coach Bobby Bowden, sharing their experiences with the incredible Miami / Florida State rivalry.
Tickets are $75 a piece and tables of ten are $700. All proceeds go to the Torretta Foundation, which provides funding for research to cure ALS.
