ESPN : Remembering Sean Taylor

sean taylor miami hurricanes washington redskinsA great 4:31 piece on the late, great Sean Taylor on ESPN earlier today in honor of the five-year anniversary of Taylor’s death. Some in-depth, heartfelt U Family commentary here with Antrel Rolle, Santana Moss and Clinton Portis talking about their former teammate and dear friend.

Taylor. Five years gone. Still one of the biggest tragedies to hit the University of Miami program. Rest in peace, Sean … and God bless your forever-ailing family.

  1. Hard to believe that it’s been 5 years. He was a great player. There haven’t been many safeties in college football who return punts. That just shows the type of freakish athlete he was. Life is valuable, and it’s sad that his ended because of some punks who couldn’t get anything on their own.

  2. Quite frankly, I can’t watch this without tearing up. My freshman year was 2001, and Sean Taylor was simply omnipresent in Hurricane football. The raw football talent, sheer athleticism and the way he played the game were unrivaled. Sean Taylor was the embodiment of everything a Miami Hurricane football player should be. All he did was make plays. RIP ST26
